Yu-Hsiang Lan is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on numerical methods for partial differential equations, with applications in thermal-fluid systems and magnetohydrodynamics. As a Nek5000/NekRS developer, he develops scalable numerical algorithms for large-scale simulations in collaboration with scientists and engineers at Argonne.
