What are your academic and/or technical interests?
My academic and technical interests lie in software engineering and computer programming. I’m particularly drawn to solving complex computational problems, building efficient systems, and exploring how code can optimize real-world processes. I’m also interested in high-performance computing (HPC) as a way to scale these solutions and accelerate computation-heavy tasks across disciplines.
Do you have any hobbies?
Outside of academics, I enjoy coding personal projects, spending time in nature, and reading books. Whether it’s debugging a new script, going for a walk outdoors, or getting lost in a good book, these hobbies help me stay balanced and continuously curious.
What are you most excited about for this program?
I’m most excited about gaining hands-on experience with high-performance computing systems and collaborating with others who are passionate about solving complex problems. I’m eager to learn how HPC can be applied across different fields and to build the technical skills that will help me contribute to large-scale, impactful projects.
